It was quite the scene at the White House this week when President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania welcomed King Charles and Queen Camilla for a formal state visit. The two leaders chatted briefly in front of the cameras before heading inside, and what happened in those quiet moments has everyone talking now thanks to a professional lip reader.
On Monday, the British royal couple touched down in the United States for the first monarch-led state visit in nearly two decades. Trump and Melania greeted them warmly on the South Lawn. After the usual round of photos, they strolled around, with Melania even showing off her new beehive setup. The four day trip includes more meetings with Trump, a possible address to Congress, a stop at the 911 Memorial in New York, and some community visits in Virginia. Its also meant to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence.
