Melania Trump has been keeping herselfh in the background during her husbandโs second presidential term. Still, sheโs been criticized over the launch of her own cryptocurrency, and now, the first lady has a new backlash.
As she recently released a line of American landmark-themed Christmas ornaments, Melania is once again in the firing line.
Last week, Melania Trump announced the launch of her latest collection of ornaments. They are called the โCelebrating Americaโ line, which features โlimited-edition, handcrafted Christmas ornaments.โ They are โdesigned to celebrate America and the upcoming 250th anniversary.โ
Three ornaments are US. landmarks; the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and Mount Rushmore, while three feature patriotic images. They all have ingravings of MElania Trumoโs sugnature, and there is also an option to get a โunique digitalโ collectible.โ
โI am excited to continue this annual holiday tradition with the Celebrating America collection of ornaments,โ the first lady said. โThis year, I sought inspiration in our Nationโs upcoming 250thย birthday, and all of the holiday blessings that we enjoy as Americans.โ
Melania Trump criticized over new ornament launch
The ornaments ranges from $75 to $90, or $465 for the set of six. But on sicla media, people are not all happy about it.
โMore grifting,โ one user wrote on X.
โGriftiest, grifting couple ever,โ another added.
โMoney is their โgod,’โ a third wrote, while a fourth added, โWhat a grifter! And she doesnโt even live in the White House.
