According to Trump’s niece, he is incapable of doing simple things like tying his shoes

Mary Trump, the novelist and psychologist who is Donald Trumpโ€™s niece, is making news once more for her scathing criticism of the president, and this time she isnโ€™t holding back.

President Donald Trump has long presented a picture of strength and power, but an increasing number of mental health professionals believe that there may be something more delicate hiding beneath the bluster.

Trump might be โ€œhauntedโ€ by the idea of experiencing the same cognitive deterioration that befell his father, Fred Trump Sr., who eventually suffered from Alzheimerโ€™s disease, according to a startling analysis that was broadcast on MSNBCโ€™s The Weekend: Primetime. The ongoing discussion over Donald Trumpโ€™s mental health is now being joined by yet another voice, and this one is particularly relevant.

Mary Trump, a certified psychologist and the presidentโ€™s niece, has long expressed concern about her uncleโ€™s emotional and mental health. However, she goes one step farther in a recent episode of her YouTube series Trump Trolls Trump, calling his present actions a โ€œreign of idiocy.โ€

Mary claims that her uncleโ€™s cognitive impairment is getting worse. She declared, โ€œWe are now 166 days into the Trump regimeโ€™s reign of terror, confusion, and chaos, but letโ€™s also call it what it is: a reign of idiocy.โ€ She continued after that.

When discussing Donald Trumpโ€™s mental health, Mary, the author of the best-selling exposรฉ Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the Worldโ€™s Most Dangerous Man, didnโ€™t mince words. โ€œWhen youโ€™re having a terrible time and democracy is being slowly stifled by a man who canโ€™t tie his own shoes, time flies,โ€ she joked.

Even if her comments were harsh, she did, if you can call it that, recognize one of Trumpโ€™s unique skills: combining cognitive failure with narcissism. She declared, โ€œIโ€™m going to give Donald credit for something, even though he is good at very, very few things.โ€ He is actually pretty good at combining narcissism and cognitive deterioration.

That is a twofer, after all. Mary also made fun of Trumpโ€™s recent public engagements, which included a visit to the contentious new immigration facility in Florida called Alligator Alcatraz. Trumpโ€™s rambling response to the question of how long detainees will be held included everything from redecorating the Oval Office to New York taxes.

Mary quickly criticized the strange answer, saying, โ€œThe question, you idiot, wasnโ€™t do you like Florida?โ€ โ€œHe doesnโ€™t have an answer, which is why he canโ€™t respond to that question.โ€ โ€œHe has an attention span of a toddler, although thatโ€™s actually nothing new,โ€ she continued, calling the president โ€œincreasingly far gone.โ€

The psychologist also expressed her displeasure with Trumpโ€™s alleged inability to interact honestly with the American people. โ€œIโ€™m fed up with this thuggish jerk sitting there and preventing the American people from knowing the truth about anything at all,โ€ she declared.

As if that werenโ€™t enough, Mary also attacked Trumpโ€™s most recent business venture: a high-end fragrance. The Trump-branded โ€œVictoryโ€ perfume, which was just released on Truth Social, costs an outrageous $249 per bottle and comes with a gold figure of the president.

โ€œThe current president of the United States grifting off of his office is grotesque, but here we are,โ€ she remarked. โ€œThe idea of having to guess what that horror smells like is deeply unfair to those of us who are still sane,โ€ she said as she concluded.
