Donald Trump mocked after cameras reveal his phone lock screen

Itโ€™s been a rough week for Donald Trump โ€” and the internet isnโ€™t making it any easier.

The former president has long been mocked for his iconic hair and unmistakable orange glow, but now heโ€™s getting dragged for something even more bizarre: his iPhone lock screen.

Of all the things to go viral this weekโ€ฆ itโ€™sย Donald Trumpโ€™sย phone lock screen. So, what does the former president have as his wallpaper? Hint: itโ€™sย veryย on brand.

The man who many claims is running the free world has a photo ofย himselfย as his lock screen. Not his kids. Not his wife. Just Trump โ€” in all his glory, pointing dramatically toward the camera.

The moment went viral after sharp-eyed social media users spotted the screen as Trump stepped off Air Force One on May 30. A Reuters photo caught the exact moment, and online sleuths quickly zoomed in. The image? A solo Trump in his signature pose, a photo that traces back to 2019 during his first term.

Reactions online were immediate โ€” and brutal.

โ€œTrumpโ€™s lock screen was spotted on his phone last nightโ€”and it was a photo of himself. Is that not one of the most narcissistic, self-absorbed things youโ€™ve ever seen??? Not his family, not his kids, but himself. Wtfโ€ฆ,โ€ย one user wrote.

โ€œTrump having a photo of himself on his lock screen is the Trumpiest thing ever,โ€ another said.

โ€œTrump actually has his own image as his phoneโ€™s screen saver. What a narcissistic pathetic loser. Says so much,โ€ a third weighed in.

The account Republicans Against Trump also had plenty to say:

โ€œDonald Trumpโ€™s iPhone lock screen was spotted over the weekend. Yep, itโ€™s a photo of himself. Of course it is.โ€

Elon Muskโ€™s fury

While the lock screen moment might be a silly distraction, it comes at a time when Trump is already facing serious political heat โ€” and even his former tech-world ally Elon Musk isย turning up the pressure.

Musk, once seen as a powerful behind-the-scenes Trump supporter, unloaded on the president after Trumpโ€™s massive $4 trillion debt limit bill passed the House.

โ€œIโ€™m sorry, but I just canโ€™t stand it anymore,โ€ Muskย wroteย on June 3 on X.

โ€œThis massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.โ€

Muskย didnโ€™t stop there โ€” he threatened toย โ€œfireโ€ย anyone who backed the bill and called it a national disgrace. For Trump, it marked one of the loudest rebukes yet from a former ally with serious influence.

Amid the backlash, the image of Trump proudly sporting his own face as his wallpaper has become the perfect symbol of the weekโ€™s chaos โ€” and maybe even of the man himself.

As one user on X put it best:

โ€œThe most on-brand thing that ever on-branded. Trumpโ€™s lock screen is, of course, a picture of Trump.โ€
