Kid Rockโs latest meltdown unfolded at Jon Bon Joviโs Nashville bar, where he stormed off stage mid-performance, furious over what he perceived as a lackluster audience response.
The 54-year-oldย American Bad Assย singer made a surprise appearance at JBJโs Nashville on Saturday, Feb. 8, to celebrate Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryanโs birthday. However, when the crowd didnโt clap to his satisfaction, Rock lost his temper, lashed out, and abruptly ended his set.
Footage captures the moment theย Cowboyย singer was initially welcomed with applause as he joined David Bryan, best known as keyboardist for Bon Jovi. He recently celebrated his 63rd birthday on Feb. 7 and was on stage to perform Creedence Clearwater Revivalโs 1969 classicย Proud Mary.
However, just two minutes into the set, Rock suddenly cut the performance short, signaling the band to stop playing without warning.
He then mocked the audience, urging them to clap along and even demonstrating how before resorting to hurling insults..
โFโk them. Fโk them. Hey, hey, stop,โ Rock said. โIf you ainโt gonna clap, we ainโt gonna sing. Thatโs how itโs gonna go.โ
The audience followed his lead and began clapping, but just a minute later, the singer halted the performance again and hurled profanity at a bar patron.
โYou know what, fโk yโall. You ainโt gonna clap, Iโm gone,โ Kid Rock yelled.
Bryan seemed perplexed by Rockโs outburst, raising his hand in confusion and conversing with another musician as Rock stormed offstage.
Despite the chaotic moment, the birthday celebrant didnโt acknowledge the incident in hisย social media recapย of the night. Meanwhile, Rock has remained silent on the matter.
