Candace Cameron Bureย isnโt the first celebrity to move away from Los Angeles in recent years, and chances are she wonโt be the last.
The formerย Full Houseย actress recently opened toย Fox News Digitalย about her decision to move her family away from the City of Angels.
โWe didnโt feel safe anymore,โ she admitted. โAnd that was the biggest reason that we moved.โ
The 48-year-old actress and mother of three adult children explained how not everyone who lives in Los Angeles lives behind gates, and since they didnโt they often found their safety in jeopardy.
She recalled how over the past few years her family had issues with people taking photos, hiding on their property, and even approaching their door.
โItโs amazing what people feel they can do,โ she said. โAnd wanting to be a part of your life in some way. Some of it is innocent, some of it wasnโt. But itโs quite unnerving when youโre just trying to be a person and live life, and you donโt know whatโs around the corner.โ

Recently, she took to Instagram to address a frequently asked question.
Yes, the Bure family had moved from Los Angeles.
โโWhy?โ Mostly for security reasons,โ she shared on her Instagram Story. โAlso, family dynamics have changed. The kids donโt live in Los Angeles anymore. Mama will go where they go! I travel a lot. The seasons of life.โ
While she didnโt share with her fans where she moved, she told Fox News Digital that sheโs still in California.
โThere have been all kinds of stories as to where we moved, and none of them are right,โ Bure said. โNone of them. We didnโt move to Nashville. We didnโt move to Texas. Weโre actually still in California. We just moved up north. Weโre no longer in Los Angeles.โ
Itโs completely understandable that Bure and her family would want to move if so-called fans approach the family at their private residence.
