The apparent quandary concerning the Epstein files has dominated headlines for the past few months.
For the vast majority of the public, it’s always been a no-brainer: those in power should release the infamous files, regardless of their content or who they incriminate. Yet for reasons quite inexplicable to anyone with a functioning brain between their ears, their release has been blocked, stalled, and prevented at every turn.
Making matters more confusing, Trump himself was vocal during his election campaign with a promise to release the files, come what may. When push came to shove, however, Trump tried to swat away the Epstein “hoax” (his word), claiming it to be a scheme of the Democrats to take away from his successes.
Until now, that is.
Facing massive pushback from Epstein’s victims, the Democrats, and even members of the Republican party, Trump changed his tune just days ago to back the releasing of the files.
Yesterday, November 20, he signed a bill ordering the release of government files related to notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

“Perhaps the truth about these Democrats, and their associations with Jeffrey Epstein, will soon be revealed, because I HAVE JUST SIGNED THE BILL TO RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!” Trump wrote.
The files, it must be said, differ from the over 20,000 pages of documents that Congress released last week, some of which mention Trump by name.
In 2018, for example, the late Epstein wrote of Trump: “I am the one able to take him down” and “I know how dirty donald is”.
Trump has repeatedly stated that he had nothing to do with Epstein, beyond having a friendship that he claims ended sourly in the early 2000s (before rumors of Epstein’s criminality began to surface).
Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, however, recently made a controversial claim suggesting that there’s a very particular reason as to why Trump suddenly started calling for the release of the Epstein files, having seemingly done his utmost to sweep the issue under the rug for as long as possible.
Trump and his closest allies were actively calling the Epstein saga a “hoax” and “distraction” as recently as ten days ago, and so the POTUS’ sudden change of heart may come across as strange to some.
It makes perfect sense to Mark Epstein, though.
Speaking to NewsNation, Epstein said: “I’ve been recently told the reason they’re going to be releasing these things, and the reason for the flip is that they’re sanitizing these files.”

He also stated that FBI director Kash Patel is in on the plot, claiming to have heard that the ‘scrubbing’ is taking place in Virginia.
“There’s a facility in Winchester, Virginia, where they’re scrubbing the files to take Republican names out of it,” Mark said.
“That’s what I was told by a pretty good source.”
Mark has gone on record before as claiming that his brother’s ties to Trump go beyond what the president has insinuated.
“He didn’t tell me what he knew, but Jeffrey definitely had dirt on Trump,” Mark said previously.
“You could see in the emails, Trump could deny it all he wants, but it’s pretty clear everything Trump says is a lie.”
