Following the tragic passing of Charlie Kirk, the right-wing activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, his widow, Erika Kirk is continuing his legacy.

Kirk was shot in the neck on Wednesday, September 10,ย during a debate event while speaking before a large crowd at Utah Valley University (UVU).

His alleged assassin, Tyler Robinson, has since been arrested and โ€œfaces single counts of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, and violent offense in the presence of a child, along with two counts each of obstruction of justice and witness tampering,โ€ People reported.

Charlie Kirk and Erika shared two children, a daughter, 2, and a son, just 16 months old.

The widowed mother of two addressed the nation days following her husbandโ€™s passing, thanking the emergency services who had done everything to save Charlie. She then extended her gratitude to Vice President JD Vance and his wife for bringing Charlieโ€™s coffin home.

She also thanked President Donald Trump, whom Charlie Kirk supported and admired.

โ€œThe Charlie Kirk Showย is not going anywhere,โ€ Erika Kirkย said. โ€œMy husbandโ€™s voice will live on. The show will go on. We will have rotating hosts, rotating casts, rotating people coming on. It is going to be continually the north star of the conservative movement, of the voice of the youth, of the voice of the base, and that will not end.โ€

She then announced her plans of continuing Charlieโ€™s tour through college campuses nationwide, named the โ€œAmerican Comeback Tour.โ€

โ€œWeโ€™ll never be silenced,โ€ Erika continued. โ€œThatโ€™s why continuing his platform in a beautiful, honorable way will reinforce that he will never be silenced. My husbandโ€™s voice will go on.โ€

Turning Point USA is believed to be the โ€œlargest Conservative student movementโ€ in the US with groups at more than 3,000 universities and high schools, and Erika Kirk said it is moving โ€œfull steam ahead.โ€

At her late husbandโ€™s memorial in Glendale, Arizona, Erika gave a heartfelt speech. She recalled seeing Charlie Kirk at the hospital after his death and sharing her decision to forgive his killer.

โ€œMy husband, he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life. That man, that young man, I forgive him. I forgive him because it was what Christ did and it is what Charlie would do,โ€ Erika Kirk said.

โ€œThe answer to hate is not hate,โ€ she added. โ€œThe answer we know from the gospel is love and always love. Love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us.โ€
