The president was joined by his wife, Melania Trump, but as they were heading up an escalator in the building, it suddenly stopped. Both Donald and Melania looked over their shoulders to ask what had happened, and afterward, the White House was unhappy.
As per Newsweek, they even called for an investigation into whether the escalator was stopped on purpose to humiliate him. Moreover, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News that there would be โaccountabilityโ if it were found to have been intentional.
